Privacy policy

    Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OrderLift B.V. (“OrderLift”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit orderlift.io or request a demo. We are based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    1. Data we collect

    • Information you provide. When you submit the demo request form, we collect your name, email address, and any company name, postcode, address, or message you choose to include.
    • Restaurant performance data. If you become a client, we access delivery-platform data for the stores you ask us to manage, for the purpose of providing our service.
    • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard log information such as IP address and browser type.

    2. How we use your data

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, arrange and deliver a demo, provide and improve our services, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data.

    3. Legal basis

We process demo-request data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. For clients, we process data to perform our contract with you.

    4. Sharing & processors

We use the following service providers (processors). They process data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement:

We may also disclose data where required by law. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks.

    5. International transfers

Google (Firebase Hosting, Google Analytics) and EmailJS are US-headquartered. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, for Google, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Our website hosting serves from Google’s global edge network; our email is hosted by Zoho in the EU (mx.zoho.eu).

    6. Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and Google Ads conversion measurement to learn whether our own advertising brings restaurants to us. Both are only enabled after you accept them — the Google tag loads with consent denied by default (Google Consent Mode v2, covering analytics storage, advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation) and only switches on if you choose “Accept”. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are stored. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not run third-party retargeting networks or sell data. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

    7. Retention

    • Demo and store-scan enquiries: kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
    • Client data: kept for the duration of the contract and for 7 years afterwards where Dutch tax and administration law requires it.
    • Analytics data: retained for 14 months, the Google Analytics minimum retention setting.

    8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at sales@orderlift.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
